KMP 1.4.3 Hotfix Release

KMP 1.4.3 focuses on stabilizing awards workflows after 1.4.2 and adds a safer way to retire awards from new recommendations without losing history.

  • Awards can now be marked inactive so they stop appearing in new recommendation forms while existing recommendations keep their recorded award
  • Public award recommendation submission now works again for non-member recipients, preserves typed autocomplete selections, and shows the correct states to authorized viewers
  • Recommendation grids now have stronger award-level and domain filtering with tighter permission scoping for gathering-related results
  • Waiver upload pages once again load the correct production PDF and CSS assets
  • Member/profile navigation avoids duplicate page loads more reliably, and permission changes invalidate cached access rules correctly

Mobile Login Improvements: Remember ID, Quick Login PIN, and Device Management

Mobile sign-in now supports a faster and clearer device-aware flow, while preserving account security and giving members control over where quick login is enabled.

  • Added Remember my ID on login screens to save and prefill the member email/ID on future sign-ins
  • Added optional Quick login on this device setup after standard email/password login, with a 4-10 digit PIN
  • Quick login is now device-bound and can be used for faster sign-in when configured

Branch Hamlet Mode

Branches can now operate in "Hamlet" mode — a lightweight configuration where a branch has members but no officers. Instead of a full officer roster, hamlet-mode branches designate a single Point of Contact selected from members with active membership.

  • New "Can Have Officers" toggle on branch settings (defaults to on for existing branches)
  • When officers are disabled, the Officers tab is automatically hidden from the branch view
  • New "Point of Contact" field with member autocomplete search for selecting a contact
  • Contact information is visible only to logged-in users — it is never exposed through the public API
  • Existing branches are unaffected; hamlet mode is opt-in per branch

KMP now offers iCalendar subscription feeds so members can subscribe to gathering calendars directly in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps. The feed updates automatically — no manual downloads needed.

  • No authentication required — shareable subscribe URL
  • Accepts the same filter[column][] params as the calendar grid
  • Includes gatherings from 30 days ago onward, including cancelled ones (marked with STATUS:CANCELLED)
  • Only public-safe data (name, dates, location, description)
  • 6-hour refresh interval hint for calendar clients

The iCalendar (.ics) subscription feed now accepts the same filter[column][] query parameters as the calendar grid, so the subscribe URL always matches the user's active filters — including multiple branches, gathering types, and activity filters.

  • Subscribe link updates dynamically as filters are added or removed
